mango coral

 Mango Coral
hello third trimester. 28 weeks this week. How incredibly crazy is that? I cant believe how fast this pregnancy is going by. I love my bump & will seriously miss it like crazy. But i am thrilled to meet our second little girl. Crazy thing is, i hated being pregnant with Oakley. I complained probably the whole time. I would always say "I'm not meant to be a pregnant person" I feel so ashamed to ever think that. Babies are the greatest blessing. I think having Oakley, seeing the miracle of birth has completely changed my mind. I told my husband last night how much i love being pregnant and how wonderful this pregnancy has been..hes all "yah but you got sick a lot" & honestly i remember times i would throw up with a smile on my face. I would be so grateful to be throwing up, that meant my baby was in there alive + well. I truly am so grateful to carry this baby & to have carried Oakley. It is definitely something i will never take for granted + always be grateful for.

blush + tan tones

b l u s h + t a  n tones
Okay its official i just cant get enough of neutral tones. Especially blush, I literally have been wearing it all year long. Isn't it considered a neutral yet?
I love this casual look paired with these statement puff shoes. And they are honestly so dang comfortable! I recommend sizing a half size up. Also this top is so buttery soft & stretchy which i love for my growing bump.
by the way i am 26 weeks. like what? i have no idea where the time has gone but i need to get on top of getting baby girls things together! So crazy to think by the end of summer i will be a mom of two little girls, i am so excited!

Coastline Blues

Coastline Blues
My sweet husband took me & babe Oakley to Park City for a little birthday getaway. It was so much fun. We went shopping, had some yummy treats & did little pool time. I seriously feel like the luckiest to have scored such an awesome husband.
And i thought this would be the perfect birthday dress, especially for my growing bump & to conceal all the sushi i was about to eat. all the details below

[how to] conceal dark circles

Dark circles can come with time as we get older, when your sleepy, stressed, dehydrated or its just genetic. For whatever reason, they suck. Here are some of my tips to conceal them with makeup. I can do a post on treatments [skincare] that helps with them as well, just let me know.

Treat. Start by doing your regular skincare routine. Make sure to get the moisturizer really well under the eyes, if you dont have a eye cream just use a couple layers of your moisturizer. I love Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream & then i put a little Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer by Kiehls [only use this if you have puffy under eyes as well]
Then use a good under eye primer, the one i use is Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Primer
Let it absorb for a few minutes.
Only use a tiny amount of each of this products since you will be using concealers, while letting each product properly absorb.
Conceal. Next, use a peach/orange concealer shade to conceal only the dark areas under the eye. The trick is finding a good shade that is a shade darker than your skin, it's needs to be dark enough to conceal the dark areas. Don't worry, we use a lighter concealer to brighten up the whole eye area. I love Benefit Erase Paste it's a perfect orange/peach tone. NYX has a great cheaper version Dark Circle Concealer
Brighten. After you have blended in the orange concealer. [use damp beauty blender with tapping motions, or just use you ring finger and tap the concealer into your skin. Be careful not to move the product around.] Apply a brighter concealer on top, make sure this is 1-2 shades lighter. I love Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer kit http://m.sephora.com or Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser is a great product too & apply it from under eyes to bottom of the nose in a triangle shape. [blend in with beauty blender]
Set. Anytime you put a cream/liquid on its best to set it. Especially the under eyes. Creasing can be a wreck! I love setting with the powder in the Bobbie Brown kit or Laura Mercier translucent powder.
